MP3 Monday: Modern Sky Festival

So I guess this holiday is coming up and you should be getting your vacation plans in order. Perhaps you will be going to Beijing, yes? Maybe even going to this Modern Sky Festival?

In case you haven't heard about it, the Modern Sky Festival is a three-day rock festival (Sept 30-Oct 2) featuring Chinese bands organized by Beijing record label extraordinaire Modern Sky. Have a look at the poster up there to see who is playing. There's DJs performing as well, if that's more your thing. Shanghai acts are on there too -- Island 33, Cold Fairyland, and Top Floor Circus -- and you might recognize a few of those DJs. Whose this Ozone character? R3? Seems familiar.

Anyways, you could do worse than to spend you vacay in Beijing at this thing and here are three MP3s from three of the better bands on that bill: Re-TROs, SUBS, and Hedgehog. These are older songs, each having withstood the test of time on my mp3 player -- so you know its all cream of the crop stuff here.
