Urban Planning Exhibition Hall

There aren't too many virtual realities in Shanghai but I can now point out at least one. In the middle of People's Square inside the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall lies a cocoon showing its insides for most of the work week hours and during the day on the weekends. Given, it's more like standing in the middle of a full screen-covered sphere, but that's basically the same thing, right? A virtual boy on some kind of floating skateboard even gives an introduction, and then off you go, soaring over the elevated ring road (sprinkled with sports cars) and basically every other part of Shanghai you'd consider an urban landmark. Even a snow-coated People's Square. It seems like a waste to look in one direction - make sure you twist your head around periodically to get absorb it all. Incredibly, after being in this city for (many) more months that I can count on both hands, I'd never visited the hall up until this point.
