Late last month, the Godskitchen hothouse was host to Goldie, a leading figure of drum'n'bass music. Often referred to as the undisputed king, Godfather or Master of this music scene, I'm contemplating whether modesty is this guy's strong point. But then, perhaps he deserves the accolade, because truth be told the night was infused with an energy not too often felt in Shanghai.
