This week's CD giveaway is an inscrutable little three-disc package billed as a collaboration between YOUR Hi Note records and a fashion design label called Mark Fairwhale. As far as I can gather, Mark Fairwhale is a fashion brand from designer Mark Cheung, comprised of clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and other assorted baubles and knick-knacks.
Anyways, the accompanying booklet gives you a retrospective of his stuff for the past couple of years, and the three CDs are comprised of music inspired by his stylistic sensibilities.
The discs adopt as their binding concept the mind-boggling phrase, "Fly Me to The Dream," and feature house, lounge and hip-hop: Velocity, Groove Lovers, David Morales, Le Posee, -hello? - Husky Rescue
