What's In a Name Anyway?

By Ben A., May 21st, 2008 | In Dining

Hmmm¡. Matsuri 123 Japanese Foods Stadium. It's a strange name that I don't much care for, which is a bad thing because names are important. You see the thing with a name is that it's your first introduction to an object, person, or in this particular case, a restaurant. It offers an easy route to making snap judgments. A VW Santana was never going to be a supercar and you wouldn't go to a Pussy Cat Dolls' concert expecting to see a four-piece punk band from Seattle. You know what you are getting with these names. So it was with something bordering on trepidation that I ventured out to Gubei to cast my weary eyes over a "foods stadium."
