It offers the full IB program from the primary years (PYP) to the diploma program (DP) in 2012. It is also the only IB full continuum school in Shanghai that is authorized to offer the specialized IB career-related education (CP) in the secondary years. The school hosts the UK registered International School's Theatre Association (ISTA) as well as the Stoke City Football Camp Academy.

Harrow International School Shanghai is the fourth international school in the Harrow family of schools. They boast a flock of famous alumni, high academic standards and a consistent international school house system.
All-through (ages 2-17) international school established in 1996, with campuses in Hongqiao and Pudong. SCIS adopted certified International Baccalaureate programming in 2008 and, as of 2017, became a full continuum IB world school (including the PYP, MYP and DP). Fees are comparable to other international schools, but are inclusive of comparatively more, from uniforms to lunches and even MacBooks for older students.

Their program is activity-focused, with English and Mandarin classes on different days. Lots of activities are free (Mommy & Me classes, cooking classes) and integrate early numeracy and science learning. There are sessions across weekdays and weekends.
