JZ's annual music festival starts with a two-day outdoor event in the riverside Expo park, Pudong-side, then switches to the Shanghai Centre, for five nights of sit-down jazz shows. Line-up is huge but includes saxophonist Chris Potter and trumpeter Roy Hargrove, Ben Huang, Acid Live, Chekov and Skyriders, AM444, Drunk Monk, Li Quan and techno DJ B6, all in the Expo park. Then the sit-down shows include Ron Carter Quartet, Yellowjackets, The Chris Potter Quartet, Terri Lyne Carrington and culminating with The Manhattan Transfer.
