Split Works' JUE Festival is coming up but this is a little taster of the sort of quality rock and roll we're in for. San Francisco's Thee Oh Sees put on their riot-sparking, battering-ram of a live set at 390 Panyu Lu. John Dwyer and bandmates Brigid Dawson, Petey Dammit, Mike Shoun and Lars Finberg do a sort of heavy, psychedelic garage pop that verges into experimental territory. Good, good, excellent stuffs.
