Split Works' JUE Festival is coming up but this is a little taster of the sort of quality rock and roll we're in for. San Francisco's Thee Oh Sees put on their riot-sparking, battering-ram of a live set at 390 Panyu Lu. John Dwyer and bandmates Brigid Dawson, Petey Dammit, Mike Shoun and Lars Finberg do a sort of heavy, psychedelic garage pop that verges into experimental territory. Good, good, excellent stuffs. They've appeared five times at All Tomorrow's Parties. Heavy stuff. 80rmb on the door, or 60rmb for students. Support from Pairs and Himdong. 9pm kick off.
