New York DJ Mike Simonetti grew up a punk kid in the 1980s, working at a bunch of seminal punk clubs, before launching Troubleman Unlimited Records, which now hosts major acts Glass Candy, Growing, Chromatics and Wolf Eyes. He's been involved in uber-cool NY clubs for decades but switched to nu disco with the launch of his sub-label Italians Do It Better in 2006.
