Hailing from Sichuan province but now based in Beijing, Chinese artist Guo Hongwei will present a selection of his newest works at Leo Xu Projects this summer. Known for his works in watercolor, oil and collage, Guo takes painting as a form of collecting, with artworks evoking the kind of attention to detail more usually afforded to specimens in a museum, with subject matter ranging from everyday objects to flora, fauna and minerals. The opening reception takes place on 25 April from 6pm through 8pm
