The Kerry Hotel in Pudong has arranged a series of weekend music and family events throughout the summer. They start May 10, and then run May 11, May 17 and May 18, all 5:30-8pm. Then there's a family day on Sunday, May 19, that runs 3-7pm. For a full line-up of each day, see the flier below, but for each event expect some live jazz from local bands such as Mirage, The Shanghai Newgrass Project, HOWHY Band, The Thursday Band, Leonardo Susi, Tribe of Asaph and The Needle Drops. On May 19, for the family day, there will be alternative rock from a couple of student bands and young people. Barbecue food every day and free to get in. Families and music lovers might like to wander down.
