BEAN gathers volunteers to help knit squares that will be sewed together to make blankets. They'll then be donated to a charity in South Africa that helps local children affected by AIDS. It doesn't matter whether you know how to knit or not, they'll teach you. It helps if you let them know whether you are a beginner or advanced knitter.
