First shown at last year's Kiev Biennale of Contemporary Art, the seven video works on show at Chronus Art Center's current show, Best of Times, Worst of Times represent recent projects by John Bock, Yang Fudong, Gulsun Karamustafa, Lutz Becker, Tracey Moffatt, Map Office, and Miao Xiaochun. Exploring ways in which contemporary art and aesthetics use the past to express the future, the exhibition reflects on the utopian dreams of freedom, equality, and security at the heart of our lives today.
