A debut China-side show for photographer Christy Lee Rogers hits up Art Labor gallery this summer. Described as 'post-modern water works', they see models submerged underwater in elaborately contrived position, photographed in her home of Hawaii at night. All single shot and un-retouched, they're simultaneously super experimental yet classical: think gorgeous tones, dramatic lighting and composition recalling the likes of Titian, Caravaggio and Rubens.
