Here's something a bit different: MadeIn Gallery is hosting workshops this November inviting participants to create their own take on Xu Zhen's Under Heaven paintings. 'Contemporary art creation company' MadeIn was established by Xu Zhen in 2009, although the distinctive series go under the artist's own name. You'll have seen them before: deliciously tactile, cake-icing-esque oil paintings, they're apparently a lot of fun to make. Workshop-goers can make their own miniature versions for 280rmb per person, or 500rmb for a couple. Workshops last 45 minutes, and all materials are provided. Sessions are available 12 + 13 November 3pm-8pm; 16 November 4pm-8pm; and 19 + 20 November 3pm-8pm. Spaces are extremely limited - book here.
