The Molds, TOW, & Non-Plus of Color
A taste of Beijing's finest underground rock is playing a Sunday show with a side of Shanghai post-punk at Harley's Underground. Out of Beijing, you have The Molds
returning with their brand of subdued Jesus Mary Chain alt-rock stylings. Also coming down is Yang Fan of Hang On the Box, Ourselves Beside Me, and many other projects. She has a collaboration piece with Molds singer Liu Ge called TOE that features double guitars and a whole lot of pedals, pedals, and more pedals. On the bill representing Shanghai is art rock outfit Non-Plus of Color
. The show is put together by the Fruity Shop organization from Beijing who have a great record store and separate live venue called Fruity Space. Costs 80rmb at the door with a 9pm start time.
