Shanghai Soup is a non-profit networking event that provides funding for small projects within Shanghai. At each event, soup is served, sustainably sourced from local businesses. Each diner contributes 50rmb to the soup. Four local projects present to the audience and have four minutes to share their idea and answer four questions from the diners. At the end, diners can vote on which project is granted the collective pot. They promote, and educate about, waste food reduction and the use of surplus.
