Record Store Day returns to Shanghai for an all day celebration of vinyl music. The first record store day was held in America in 2007 and has since grown to be hosted around the world from Japan to Germany to Australia. 2018 marks the 6th year Record Store Day will be held in Shanghai. With the goal of supporting independent record stores this holiday is a celebration of music and the people who love vinyl records. On Saturday, April 21st there will be a record market hosted by Uptown Record Store & Daily Vinyl Magazine with over 20 vendors selling a mixture of rock, pop jazz, electronic, hip hop, classical, and more.
