The traditional German Christmas Market is back for two whole (nonconsecutive) weeks in November and December. The scent of baked apples, chestnuts, gingerbread and mulled wine. Wooden stalls with handicrafts, seasonal gifts, baked treats, that odd nail-in-the-wooden-stump game, and plenty of Glühwein (mulled wine) to keep you warm. It's free on weekdays, tickets for Sat&Sun get you a free drink. Kids under 12 accompanying a parent get in free. 40rmb if you buy on SmartTicket, 50rmb otherwise. Runs from noon to 9pm on weekends, 4 to 9pm on weekdays.
