B6 + Nara + Dead J
Musicians B6, Nara and Dead J, from Beijing and Shanghai are "the future of electronica in China" and will be performing at Pirates together for one night. The three musicians are all represented by Shanshui records and will perform their unique styles live on stage. Doors open 9:30-2am. Cover charge 30rmb for students and 50rmb for non-students (includes one free drink).
Nara is always the lover of tender melody after, she started to create the electronic music and took part the performance of testing stage of midi music festival 2005 and 2006, and her individual album is being planned. It will be her premiere performance in Shanghai!
Born in 1981, Shao Yanpeng (aka Dead J) is one of the important representatives of China's new generation electronic scene.
German's digital hardcore inspired Shao Yanpeng, with the spirit of independent punk in his early works. He publish different kinds of music under the name Dead J, Dead K, Disk J. Rebuilt duo band "Panda Twin" with Sulumi, and frequently gave live show in Beijing, then start to broaden sound thoughts.
At the beginning of 2005, he finished first solo album "Mental imagery". In August 2006, he released another album, "Magic".
Living in Shanghai, B6 is a musician and a designer. He joined SHANSHUI in 2003 and participated in the production of many compilation albums and REMIX plans. At the age of 19, he formed an electronic label called "Isolation", which helped to release CDRs for many underground musicians. B6 often organizes and attends DJ parties.
