A five-time nominee by the Grammy Awards and a signed artist with Steinway & Sons, Christian Sands and is an acclaimed international jazz musician. His 2017 debut album “Reach,” with Mack Avenue, is an eminent expression of his unique take in the jazz form. Christian’s work soon became an inspired and inspired source for others. His music became more widely known after Christian McBride’s “Facing Dragons”, a work that sampled from the “Reach” album. Christian Sands is at Shanghai's Jazz at Lincoln Center with Yasushi Nakamura (Wynton Maraslis' regular bass player), and Ryan Sands, a world-class drummer from the Blues Alley Jazz Club.
