Mandarin Community will show a Chinese film (with English subtitles) and provide materials for those who want them to learn some Chinese phrases as they enjoy the movie. Film will start at 7pm. The film is 99 minutes long. RSVP via the WeChat contact provided. This month they will show "Crazy Racer," a black comedy from 2009 directed by Ning Hao. it follows four separate plot lines that intersect. The main character, Geng Has loses 1st place in a cycling race and is tricked into sponsoring an energy drink containing illegal substances. This results in his being banned from the sport, his coach having a heart attach and then Geng Hao ends up involved with gangsters in his attempts to earn money to cover the funeral costs.
