Four expatriate ladies--responding to the call of scores of other expatriate ladies in Shanghai--decided one day to do a book of Shanghai Walks. Barbara Green, Their first book, "Six Shanghai Walks: Streets of Changing Fortune," came out over a year ago and almost immediately sold out (with all proceeds going to charity). While pondering whether to reprint or to do a new book, they decided to do both, picking up a fifth author, Jos Snoodjik, along the way. Drop by the Glamour Bar to meet the authors and to pick up a copy of Six Shanghai Walks and the newly-published second volume, "Six More Shanghai Walks: Patterns of the Past." Starts 4pm. Entry: 50rmb (incl. a drink).
