Having celebrated their 5th Anniversary in May with a sell-out concert at the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre’s main hall, Echo has chosen a more intimate setting in the former French Concession to professionally record this unique holiday season performance. Including some of the most beloved classical composers, the program's enchanting and dramatic selection ranges from Rheinberger’s Abenlied to Mozart’s Requiem and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.     • One of the world's top orchestras, who the Miami Herald described as "a living symbol of the best in Russian art", play a New Year's concert at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. Formed in 1990, they were the first Russian orchestra to perform at the Vatican and in Israel. This show features pieces by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, and Rimsky-Korsakov.
