EBF International is recruiting an Education Specialist to join an exciting, new department which will focus on designing and delivering a programme that fully prepares students for their life abroad, with both soft and hard skills. The applicant must have experience of teaching and be committed to creating an encouraging and open class atmosphere. The applicant must be approachable and sympathetic to the varying needs of students. The applicant must be passionate about giving students the best preparation for studying abroad.

Educated to degree level, the applicant must be well-organised and innovative in helping create curriculums and find opportunities to enhance student experience. Applicants should be personable and able to work well within a team. Additionally they must also demonstrate they can work well independently.

The applicant must strongly believe in the power and value of education and want to provide a service that is personalized and challenging. Knowledge of the education industry would be an advantage.

The role will require evening and weekend work.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

English; native level proficiency

University graduate

Experience of teaching and class facilitation (minimum two years)

Experience of grading high-school or university level written work in English (minimum one year)

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable:

  • Chinese language ability
  • Experience of helping students with college and university application essays
  • Experience of preparing students for school and university interviews
  • Knowledge of the education industry
