Chinese Sales Account Manager

Important: This position is for bilingual local Chinese.

The right candidate will have a mix of skills in creative intelligence, social engineering, and will have a comfortable competence in service & contract negotiation. On a daily basis, you will be interacting with Executive decision makers at well known Airlines, Consulates, Hospitals, Travel Agencies and Universities, etc.

This is a mix of sales and client relationship management role. This is an amazing opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of industries, their needs, nuances, how they operate, as well as being in the center of client success.

Beyond a sales role, you'll be managing client expectations, as well as understanding their goals, and offering real solutions to what they want to achieve. This requires a bit of a consulting mindset as well.


Role & Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for finalizing sales, providing client support, and deriving new ideas from our client relationships that could help expand our sales and business verticals.

  • Cultivate relationships with new prospective clients
  • Present our product packages to interested parties (You need to be a comfortable communicator)
  • Manage Key Accounts, providing client care. (We don't want good 'customer support' we want legendary client experiences)
  • Monthly reporting on sales performance.
  • Regular travel required within Shanghai to meet and greet new & regular clients

  • Must be Local or returning Chinese
  • Outstanding English capability, both written and oral. 
  • A degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Advertising, or relevant background work experience.
  • Minimum two years of work experience in a sales role in Shanghai
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
  • Preference given to candidates with sales experience in Shanghai, and who would already have a rolodex/client list which they could bring over.
