- Minimum, 5 years experience working for a large MNC in China in a Marketing capacity

The Job:

We are looking for someone to LEAD out China Marketing Efforts. When we say lead, we really mean “leadership”. Someone who can plan media calendars, someone who has a unique and intimate understanding of the China Market, and someone who is comfortable with B2B marketing to senior executives at major global companies (a hard audience to reach!). You will start with building the marketing foundations for the China Market (this means, you will HAVE to get your hands dirty, with a lot of hands on work). As the China Market grows, so will your team, and resources.

As China Marketing Lead, you will report directly to the VP of Product & Marketing.

Here is what you can expect to be part of your responsibilities:

  • Develop a China Go-to-market strategy plan to build brand awareness and implement results-oriented lead generation programs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to develop vertical specific new business acquisition marketing plan
  • To execute integrated demand generation programs co-work with across function teams (Sales, Product, Design, Research, PR and Marketing teams etc.)
  • Own China inbound leads conversion performance of all marketing campaigns and adjust execution accordingly. This includes both events marketing and content marketing.
  • Provide direction to content marketing to develop necessary content for client pitch and demand generation collateral
  • Analyze campaign results in detail, draw insights and make data-based adjustments.
  • Manage CRM to track marketing impact on leads generation and qualifications Basic Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS

What you will need to succeed:
You will need a mix of strategic thinking, research skills, and confidence. We will not be telling you what to do. You will need to tell US what to do, to succeed in this market. If you have successful achievements in B2B marketing, you’ll fit right in. It is a generalist marketing role, so you’ll also need an understanding of a mix between Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Traditional marketing (Print, TV, Radio), client marketing, and relationship marketing. You will also need outstanding social and emotional intelligence, and the ability to comfortably think globally (how does China Marketing efforts connect and support global marketing efforts). If you have experience also, working with global MNC’s based in China, then you’ll have a good understanding of our target market. One thing that is super important however, is outstanding English language proficiency, and a comfort relating to people of other cultures.

Requirements to be considered:

  • 5-8+ years of B2B marketing experience
  • Bilingual English/Native level Chinese
  • Experience in data-driven marketing. Ability to analyze complex data sets and make meaningful business decision
  • Experience in both digital and traditional marketing and conversant in multiple marketing channels
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally, and able to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools
  • Media Advertising Experience
