Southern Cross is the "other" Constellation, an unknown and still-quiet offshoot of the two extremely popular cocktail and whisky bars. Same selection, same neon lights, same guys in tuxedo vests, just run by the wife of Constellation's owner instead. Shhh.

Jackie's Beernest is a tiny beer bar and retail outlet specializing in quality imported craft beers. The place has a loyal following among a handful of expats and locals and it’s just as attributable to Jackie’s personality as it is to the beer selection (over 85 beers).

Sweet romantic spot, with glassed-in roof and little odds and ends of nostalgia for display throughout the winding hallways of nooks and tables. Good for a date. Reserve for specific tables, lots of locals on dates eating desserts. Decent Italian food for reasonable prices, including wine.

Once upon a time, it was the expansive terrace for their penthouse suite. But Urbn hotel has converted it into a classy, intimate little rooftop Champagne lounge.
