[My Weekender] with Cocolicious

Coco told me last week that Cabaret is asking him to perform there every Friday night, but he said he¡¯s tired of all the glamorous bling, bling Bund blah, blah, blah... so he asked me to do it, and I thought, why not?

No matter how bling bling they go, they can never be out-shine me. I¡¯ve only had a week to prepare but I¡¯m ready and I¡¯m going to sweep the men off their feet on the Bund tonight.

I got up at about 2pm and immediately called my tailor, Yin shiyu. He just made me a beautiful long black night dress which I will be wearing tonight, so I ask him to come around to my house for a fitting. I can¡¯t wait to put that sexy thing on my body, but until he comes I¡¯ll sit by the window in my 20th-floor apartment and watch the busy street below. And I¡¯ll have some great food from Coco¡¯s mum -- this woman is full of love and energy, and her food rocks!

Shaving. Shaving is a lot of fun but it¡¯s a lot of trouble as well. I like having my legs and other parts of my body silky smooth for the weekend though...

After Cabaret, after all the "super star" bund blah blah, I think I will retire for the night. Coco will probably still be out though, probably at the Shanghai Studio with his gay mafia. Or maybe not. Maybe Shelter. Coco likes sexy beats in a smoky, trashy club. But not for long though. He¡¯ll probably be a bit tired and looking forward to more parties on Sat...

Sat night is always hard to decide where to go -- too many options and too little time to think about them all. I think I will stay in for my beauty sleep, but Coco might go out still. He mentioned something about a Perfume reprise party for DJ Bobby and Kevin Shiu from Vancouver. Coco met Kevin when he was touring there in Vancouver, and he is looking forward to hear Kevin's spin again!

After that, I¡¯m pretty sure Coco will go to D2 club, although he always complains to me that he hates going to the same place every weekend. Nevertheless, he always ends up at D2, shaking his ass on the podium. Not because of the music, but because it¡¯s a better angle to see all the men in there. Poor Coco. I feel sorry for him...

After D2, Coco will probably end up in his best friend Calvin's home. This Calvin! Sometimes Coco wishes Calvin was his bf -- Calvin is a perfect BF type of guy! But every time Coco puts off this thought when he remembers how close they are to each other as a family. You don't fuck with your family! That's wrong!

Sunday suddenly arrives. That's it?! The weekend is already over? Why are weekends always so short? Why can't the week just be Friday, Friday, Friday, and Friday for five days, then Saturday and Sunday?!

It¡¯s a good thing there¡¯s JZ for Sunday. I like going to JZ with Coco on Sundays, even though sometimes he sings like shit. Most of time, though, he sing with his heart, and I love to watch him and listen to his happiness and sadness in his songs. Maybe not everybody is going there to listen to music, but if you do go there for music, you will hear flowers blooming in the air, in that smoky club...

I swear, I saw them sometimes, and I was not on LSD¡­
