  During the past decade, new music fans all stretch out their ears to the Arctic Circle. The Germany-based trailbreaker label ECM made Jan Garbarek and Terje Rypdal as the first generation of masters. Bugge Weseltoft, Nils Petter Molvaer, Jaga Jazzist and a bunch of Nordic stars become established in UK and continental Europe. Even Scandinavian music fans in Shanghai are familiar with Royskopp, Biosphere, Kings of Convenience ... Small country and small town creates some of the most interesting and inspiring sounds of our times. Smalltown Supersound is no other than a portrait of the scene, moreover, an important pioneer behind the curtain. Smalltown named after the home town of the founder Joakim Haugland, and certainly, supersound is his definition of super sound. Over more than 10 years, it has established itself internationally as a cult label for electronica, free jazz and noise, which has also been reputed as the Warp label in Scandinavia. Jaga Jazzist, Kim Hiorthoy, Lasse Marhaug, Martin Horntveth, and Jazzkammer are the names associated with. The label was selected in MTV Europe's "This is Our Music" program in 2004 representing the independent voice from Scandinavia. Smalltown Supersound further expands its music map to the world through frequent tour and collaboration with internationally important artists. It is undoubtedly one of the most expectable bases for new music.
  最近十年，全球的新音乐乐迷几乎都将耳朵伸进了北极圈。新音乐开路先锋ECM厂牌早将Jan Garbarek和Terje Rypdal等人作为第一代大师， Bugge Wesseltoft，Nils Petter Molvaer，Jaga Jazzist等一大把北欧明星亦在英国与欧洲大陆确立了极高地位，上海的斯堪地纳维亚乐迷也可以如数家珍般地道出更晚近一些的Royskopp, Biosphere, Kings of Convenience等等 ... 小国小城，创造了这个时代最有趣，最响亮、最有感觉的一些声音。 "小城大声"，正是这一图景的写照，更是幕后的重要推手。所谓"小城"（Smalltown），源自创始人Joakim Haugland（赫 咬金）的出生地，挪威南部海湾边的小镇。"大声" -- 超级之声（Supersound），则是该厂牌坚持不懈的标准。十多年来，"小城大声" 已在全球建立了电音、舞曲、自由爵士、噪音领域的迷人声誉，被誉为北欧的WARP厂牌，旗下Jaga Jazzist, Kim Hiorthoy, Lasse Marhaug, Martin Horntveth, 和Jazzkammer等为乐迷熟悉。2004年厂牌代表北欧独立之声入选欧洲MTV"这是我们的音乐" 节目，近年来，Joakim更通过带领旗下艺人不断巡演和寻找世界重要音乐人加盟，为当地的爵士音乐版图开拓疆域。"小城大声" 是目前最值得期待的新音乐基地之一

  The early 1990's is a significant "melting" period for Scandinavian music. Musicians from different genres, classic, jazz, hip-hop, underground ... all broke boundaries and "dropped around". It became popular for jazz musicians to perform in a DJ club, or for a jazz club to invite electronic musicians. A new wave of electronic-jazz was on the verge of breaking out.
  
  There came Bugge Wesseltoft, the renowned pianist and electronic-jazz musician. Ever since then, he has made an impressive, truly post-modern transistion from ECM nordic jazz traditions, playing and recording together with the likes of Jan Garbarek, to forming his own exquisite label "Jazzland", and creating a unique, fresh blend of "future jazz", which finds itself equally at home with fans of deep house, techno, ambient, as well as traditional and experimental jazz purists.
  Jazzland has officially released albums since 1996. Self-positioned as "the Future Sound of Jazz", it gathers some of the best Scandinavian musicians and emerging cutting-edge groups, including Eivind Asrset, Audun Cleive, Wibutee, Sidsel Endresen, Mari Bonie and so on. Jazzland musicians have been touring worldwide during the past 10 years and appeared in almost all major music festivals, which help establish its great reputation outside of Scandinavian.
  一九九零年代初是斯堪地纳唯亚新音乐"大融合"时期。音乐人都打破各自的圈子界线，相互"串门"，搞古典的、爵士的, hip hop, 地下舞曲的音乐人都常来常往. 特别时兴的是爵士艺人在DJ俱乐部里演出，爵士俱乐部演出邀请电子艺人加盟，相互产生了深刻的作用. 新一轮的电音爵士热潮一触即发.
  此时，出生于爵士世家的Bugge Wesseltoft（布格 维塞尔托夫特）已在古典、摇滚/流行, 实验, 爵士领域浸淫三十年之久, 受到最著名的北欧前卫爵士大师Jan Gabarek和Arild Andresen的赏识受邀合作后，加入了最优秀的音乐家之列. 993年他开始酝酿"爵士新概念", 旨在融合爵士, techno、house, 氛围音乐、噪音, 自由即兴等音乐元素和手段 -- 亦被指认为"未来爵士". 同时为了方便出版和发行同类型的唱片，他创立了Jazzland厂牌， 1996年开始正式发行唱片.
  Jazzland厂牌以"爵士未来之声" 的定位，网罗了一批斯堪地纳唯亚音乐圈中最优秀的音乐人以及新晋崛起的前卫团体，包括Eivind Aarset, Wibutee, Audun Cleive, Mari Bonie, Sidsel Endresen等等. 布格及其"爵士新概念"乐团在近十年的时间里，在全世界各大音乐节上频繁巡演，为Jazzland创造了极广泛的声誉，成为欧洲最负盛名的独立厂牌之一.
  2006年，Jazzland厂牌迎来它的十周年庆。
