  • You might already heard that I wasn’t a big fan of dining at shopping malls until I came to China. People change, right? Well, now I love discovering good restaurants in the middle of the malls. Recently opened Lu One Mall in Xujiahui road brought a nice gastronomic offer to the city, not only indoor but also outdoor next to the mall like a foodie patio.

Very Thai is a modern resto bar that brings the entire Thai flavor to you. I was really surprised to be honest; I wasn't expecting such a good and authentic Thai meal. I love when a place overpassed my expectations!

Once again with my partner in crime we had a quite big and varied meal for just two persons but guess what? We ate it ALL. The first place in the podium goes to the Phad Thai, haven’t had such a good one out of Thailand so far. The second place for the Yellow Curry and the third for the grilled Short Ribs because the portion was a little small.

The menu is quite extensive and covers most of the traditional Thai delicacies. The ambience is chilled, dimmed lights suitable for a date and a wide range of drinks to choose. If you are shopping around make a stop and give it a try, totally worth the time.
