Phenomenal French pianist Hélène Grimaud was accepted into the Paris Conservatory at the age of 13, and was widely praised for a number of classical recordings completed soon after her graduation in the late 80’s (Rachmaninov's challenging Sonata No. 2). International recitals soon followed and Grimaud was also invited to perform with Ochetstre de Paris. For her Shanghai piano recital, she's playing works by Bach, Liszt, and Rachmaninov. Expect power, intensity, and technical finesse from one of the finest French pianists playing today.
