SmartShanghai is increasing our listings database and currently lists One-off Events, Weekly Events, Ongoing Events, Dining Promotions, Art and Stage Events, and, just recently, Happy Hour Specials and Brunch Specials. As always, our listings are free of charge!

After reading through our basic guidelines, please select from the list below your type of submission to be redirected to the appropriate Web form. Please submit events as early as possible, as our editorial team has to review a truck load of events every week. Priority is given to paying advertisement clients and to charity events.

Guidelines for submitting an event

All events are processed via this form (no phone, fax etc), so please use the appropriate Web form after reading the following guidelines. 活动上传指南: 所有活动均通过此表格形式上传（勿致电、传真等），请于阅读以下指示后上传活动。

No Guarantees

The submission of an event does not guarantee the information will be included on the Web site, and we reserve the right to reject submissions. 无担保: 活动认证是一个人工的过程，我们会根据活动的内容来决定是否会通过您的活动，因此我们不保证任何上传的活动都会被通过，如果活动通过，您将收到带有活动链接的邮件。

Listing types

All basic listings for events and promotions are free of charge and independent of paid advertising. This includes all of the aforementioned submission categories. Newsletters

Requests to be included in either of our newsletters (Shanghai_nightlife & Shanghai_lifestyle) are accepted but there are no guarantees.
