Located in the former site of China's first YWCA, Light & Salt comprises several concepts. First and foremost is a restaurant by the name of Miss Ding's Dining, which features contemporary renditions of European cuisine with Shanghainese accents. It's broad range of flavors—anything from miso cod with sweet potato puree to Shanghai style-tonkatsu. A speakeasy lounge called The Library Distillery makes craft cocktails. And a bookstore by the name of L&S Books doubles as a wine bar by night.
