The name "Grimaldi's" is big in New York for its coal fire oven-baked pizzas. This is the attempt of the chain to recreate the experience in Shanghai. It's slick, angular decor speaks more to Shanghai design sensibilities. The pizzas, however, are pretty good. Just expect to pay a premium. Base prices range from 98rmb to 178rmb, depending on size, and toppings start at 18rmb a pop. So a fully loaded large pizza could easily cost more than 200rmb.
