This is the 2015 incarnation of longtime Shanghai restauranteur Franck Pecol's rooftop spot on Ferguson Lane. 2014's Taquería got reborn as a Southern France-inspired Pastis bar that also serves marinated beef and tapenade brochettes, rosemary chicken, pissaladiere, chichi fregi, and similar dishes. The spot only seats around 40 people, and can get quite busy. Definitely a solid choice for a long conversation or a date. Food and drinks are simple and not mind-blowing, but the atmosphere is reason to return. Expect to pay at least 150-200rmb per person.
