Then in 2016, it respawned as a more upscale affair called Tepito, when chef and serial restauranter Kelley Lee rebranded the place and brought in chef Edgar Hernandez from Mexico City. Gone are the burrito and quesadilla deals, now replaced by items like Carnitas Taquitos, Salpicon of beef brisket, Kingfish Tiradito, and bigger plates for 2-3 persons. Cocktails are around 70rmb. It's a mixed bag but overall decent. Tip: Go for the tortas.
