Cocktail bar by local-superstar bartender Daniel An, he of Taste Buds Cocktail Palace (and our own Family Mart Cocktail Lab). This one in the United Valley complex at the corner of Changle and Shaanxi Nan Lu is divided into two parts. Downstairs is "The Factory" and upstairs is "Shrine." The latter has a Catholic theme -- you have to put your hand on a bible and "confess" your sins in order for the door to open. The first floor has wine, beer, and simple cocktails like Negronis and Old Fashioneds, averaging around 50rmb. The speakeasy upstairs has signature cocktails and a lot of Bourbon and single malts.
