Editor's Description

Last updated: Dec 1, 2019
Once the largest silo in Asia, it's located right on the century-old Minsheng pier. It’s as enormous as you’d imagine: an 8-story building composed of 30 separate silos, surrounded by open space and warehouses. Lead architect Liu Yichun also helped design the Long Museum in West Bund, and he's great at preserving the original industrial look and rawness, while managing to make it look young and international. Each floor is dived into different-sized spaces, used as exhibition areas, galleries and projection rooms. The infrastructure standards are on a par with other West Bund projects as well -- plenty of coffee vendors and clean toilets. They'll ask you to get the ticket first at the entrance, check your backpack and go through the security. The Minsheng Road ferry docks right next door.
