A three-bay wide "net red" coffeeshop on Yuyuan Lu. The sign, merch and coffee trays read "since 2016" (a very respectable lifespan for a coffeeshop in Shanghai) but this branch of the popular coffeeshop from Shenzhen has only been open since October 2018. It's actually a "cafe lab", which means they do single-origins, hand-drip, cold brew and coffee education. It's surprisingly decent. The space is large and bright, the layout makes it easy to watch the baristas work, and the coffee is cheap for its profile: 30rmb for a cappuccino when they could be charging 38rmb. Rounding out the rest of the space is art and design group called Aura A Space, who provide the chairs and couches in the back, and P O Box, selling street leisurewear.
