Canteen-style Shanghainese snack house on the corner of Weihai Lu and Shaanxi Bei Lu. Meixin has an illustrious 93 year history, in which they have had plenty of time to refine their recipes for lunchtime grub such as wanton, spring rolls, rice flour dumplings and hand-pulled noodles. Expect to be full for less than 30rmb, but also be prepared to stand in a queue.
Meixin Dianxin really messes up my morning hustle to the office. The line usually snakes out the door into the sidewalk, obstructing traffic, from the moment it opens. Why? I needed to know what the attraction was, so I marched in there the other day for an explanation (some food).
Take A Date allows you to find someone on who wants to go with you to Meixin Dianxin
