Version 3.0 of Monkey is a better iteration of its former crowded, clubby self. It's smaller, more intimate, and it's trying to appeal to a slightly older demo (read: high school sneak-outs need not attend). But the beats remain. The music program is still hip-hop, still spun by DJs. You can still reserve a table and look like a baller drinking your bubbly, but the focus has shifted decidedly toward craft cocktails. It's as good for an after work drink on a Tuesday as it is for an all-out bender on a Saturday. Definitely worth a look.
