Royal Patat is a Dutch frites stall serving up handmade, deep-fried French fries. Your standard cone will cost 27rmb plus 5rmb for your choice of more than a dozen sauces (ketchup's free). They also serve trays with nationally-themed toppings, ie. slow-cooked pork and coleslaw (America) or sour cream and sweet chili sauce (Mexico). Probably the only place in town that does Oorlog frites, topped with mayonnaise, spicy peanut sauce and raw onions. Those cost around 45rmb. The fries are good, served piping hot to order. No limp fries that've been sitting twenty minutes under a hot lamp here.
