This place is now another "Masala Art", and it's tucked away in an alley near Zhongshan Park. My BF and I went for dinner last night, and while we were a little sketched out at the location and the fact that we were the only table occupied besides a big table filled with Indian gentlemen (always a good sign at an Indian place) we both agreed that it was some of the best Indian food we'd ever had. To begin with the complementary water was actually drinkable (!!) and refilled constantly by the very attentive waiter. Before our meal we were offered complementary "pita" chips and three different sauces, which were refilled a couple of times. So yummy. We started with samosas which were perfectly crispy (not too doughy) and shared Butter Chicken Masala and Saag Paneer, which were both delicious and very reasonably priced. We were also given complementary rice pudding for dessert. They offer free delivery within a 2 KM radius and if you live in the Zhongshan Park area it's definitely worth it. Also I noticed they had a "healthy" lunch set for only 48 RMB including a soup, starter, main course, and beer. We're big fans of the "all you can eat-drink" Indian places that Shanghai is crawling with but when it comes to quality vs. quantity this place is without a doubt the best choice and we will definitely be regulars.
