we went there on 21st of January, 2008. the street of the restaurant seems ordinary small shanghai street. firstly, we thought that we're in the wrong place; but, after finding the restaurant, that's OK. The decoration of the restaurant is satisfactory; soft, warm and romantic. there was a good smell of Italian foods inside; olive oil, wine and garlic :) First of all, they put a bread basket on the table and all are warm and delicious. As an appetizers, we ordered chicken cooked with red wine and tomato on garlic bread (sorry, i don't remember their Italian names) we ordered two dishes of pasta (penne); pasta pesto and vegetable pasta, both of them were so delicious. The service were so fast and the staff were so kind. the price is reasonable for such an original Italian restaurant. It's been one of my favorite restaurants in Shanghai.

Haha! I am soooooo guilty of doing the Cantonese to Mandarin translation thing all the time. I get caught pretty regularily at it too.

This is a great restaurant for people who prefer quality and authenticity over pretense. Romantic atmosphere, the best Italian food in Shanghai, good service, and reasonable prices.

Great food, nice and romantic atmosphere, and all comes at a very reasonable price – have been there several time and will go there again. Try the cocktails also, a good starter for an evening out. (only minus would be that the dishes are sometime to cold when they arrive at the able) I Love this place!
