It was nice. Nothing to rave about though. The food was ok...a little band in places. Drinks were nice and the staff were always close by and attentive. The best part, obviously, is the location. Hard to find as 1st timers, but we got there. 720rmb for 2 ppl..... incl 2 cocktails and 2 glasses of wine.

excellent choice for a romantic dinner with your sweetheart... Also perfect for a summer evening around jing'an park water plant with some friends... I love this place!!

had a nice biz dinner there. everybody was happy and satisfied. strongly recommend to book a table near the winder to enjoy the lake view at night. the serve is medium-sized I think.we had four people and ordered 4 appitizers and 1 main dish for each. all left stuffed :)

Perfect location for a romantic dinner (especially outside at the pool during summer). Perfect atmosphere, nice drinks. Food nothing special, don't expect too much. Dishes very small, you may leave hungry. Overpriced. Try the banana/coconut dessert wrapped in a banana leaf, one of the best desserts in town! Around 450-500RMB for couple.

good place to eat set amidst the greenery of Jing'an park, a real sanctuary in the otherwise crowded shanghai. excellent and authentic indonesian cuisine, although be prepared with your wallet. but hey, i guess you get what you pay for. simply tasty dishes..! and more over they have kick-ass website too. check it out at http://www.balilaguna.com
