Wonderful service, delicious food, great ambience and inexpensive, never had a bad meal at Masala Art, whether dining in or their takeaway service.

service was just mediocre...decor was ok...we thought the servings were pretty small for the price...we ordered a veggie dish that was served in a bowl the size of a coffee cup...48rmb...rip off!....in the butter chicken there were 4 measly pieces of bitesize thighs..60rmb yah baby!...the only note worthy highlight of our evening was the free indian biscuits appetizers and the MOVIE WORLD located right across the street...oh oh...they also played the original "beware of the boys" by DJ Punjabi...not the Jay Z version...which made me wanna twist on some lightbulbs.

I agree that this is the best Indian food in Shanghai. The chicken tikka is the best I have ever had. The staff are professional and very helpful in selecting the right dishes for your group.
Over all a tasty experience!

The best indian restaurant in Shanghai. Great service, great food and great value. Much better, cheaper and way more authentic than anything else in town. Stand out dishes are the chicken tikka, the lamb chops, the king prawns and the shrimp curry. They also have Cobra beer and an inexpensive wine list.

The best Indian food in the whole of Shanghai, and the service is good. I've eaten here many times and keep coming back for more. What's more is that it's really good value for money. Highly recommended.
