My level on east metireanean fodo quite high as i am from that region so I am very picky on food and I can even make one of the best hummus in world. I dnt eat hummus anywhere but only in Hayas. Their chicken and breads and turkish dolmas worth to try, leabenese cheese so good too and they can serve you real jar of lemon juice. Please there all so friendly, I love Hayas

we order from haya's a few times a week. the sandwiches in pita are delicious, and my flatmate swears by the hummus with meat. by itself, the israeli salad is bland - be sure to have salt, pepper, and some vinegar on hand to dress it up.

This used to be one of my favourite eateries, however, recently I feel the place has gone downhill. They have revised the menu and the prices appear to have gone up substantially. What do we get for the extra we pay? Well, let me explain. Previously, we would get a substantial meal served with modest tablewear, now we get flashy tablewear with modest, almost meagre portions. Previously, we had prompt, professional and friendly service, now there are a bunch of wait-staff who congregate in a group near the cooking area eating snacks and gossipping together and who look positively miffed if you dare to interrupt their conversation to ask for some service. Can we have the good old Mediterranean Cafe back please?

I have eaten at Haya's four times. The first two were fantastic. After the 3rd visit, I found myself in the emergency room with 2nd degree burns convering my left hand (a product of spilled pumpkin soup). I am writing this review from my bed, one day after my fourth visit. I have massive food poisoning from the veggie musaka. I will not be returning to Haya's.
