The grand white mansion that is Ambrosia used to belong to General Bai Congxi in the 1940s Don't be surprised to see weddings/wedding photos taking place. Also, don't be surprised by eye-patched, pajama-clad individuals...Ambrosia is across the street from Shanghai's ENT. All you can eat Sushi at the Sunday brunch.

Ambience was perfect, food consistency unfortunately wasn\'t. For the price of 328 RMB (plus 10% service charge). Service was perfect, view is great (if you make reservation ahead for a window view). Perfect plate to bring a date on a beautiful Saturday if you think 48 USD for a mediocore Japense buffet is your cup of tea. Hot dishes were not Japanese, some raw salmon were frozen, wished food were as good as the atmosphere.
