Decided to drop by when my sister saw their lunch special, all you can eat pasta or meat weekend thing. Stopped by for a late lunch- the decor is nice, spatious, comfy (smoking area has better view but it doesnt really matter, you're there for the food) it's Le Meridien after all...-around 2 and ordered some pasta, can't remember really off the bat what it was but some good stuff.
Anyway, half way through the meal I'm sitting there while my sis is in the bathroom, and this quirky guy, outfitted in a chefs white comes striding towards me, does this little jig while holding onto some dishes. I'm caught staring when he winks at me and delivers the food to the vip table two tables down from me. After setting down the plates he comes over and we start chatting....
3 hours later, I'm happily stuffed with carbs and I've met a new friend.

3 weeks later, I take my out of towner friend for her birthday dinner here.
Amazing food, love the pizza bread thing going on, yummy tuna tartare, salmon and I think it was shrimp ravioli, the foods amazing all the time, the service is impeccable, their beautiful waitresses definitely speak better than passable English and the managers are friendly, informative and love more than a few laughs.
btw the "yang mei sorbet" isssss O.O amazing, so is the tiramisu!
Come here for great food, great wine, amazing service and the funny chefs, waitresses and managers who do lots to keep you happily satisfied. :D
